Our Vision for Small Groups
In small groups we learn to apply the gospel and experience Wellspring's vision as expressed in W.E.L.L.S.
"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." -Hebrews 10:22-25
Our Purpose for Small Groups
WORSHIP - EDUCATE - EQUIP - SHEPHERD - FELLOWSHIP
- Draw near to God through prayer & worship and expect to experience His presence in the lives of one another
- Use our spiritual gifts to serve others and to glorify God
- Be equipped by God's Word and the Holy Spirit to serve the Lord
- Relationships are built as we are encouraged and learn to care for one another in the power of the Gospel
- We long to see the Gospel worked out practically in our community
- Provide an opportunity for those outside of Wellspring to get to know us as a body
- Provide an a primary enviroment for folks to be shepherded and their needs met
- Be a support to our church leadership by providing a context of care by shepherding and ministering to the flock
